Summary: The location is very beautiful, the lake made the trip. However, when we first checked in, we immediately noticed a musty smell, almost like mold, which got to the point where the smell triggered my sister's allergies and she was congested the entire time in the house. There were quite a few spiderwebs around the house in corners and on the furniture outside, and of course spiders come with spiderwebs.When entering the room I was staying in, I did find a (assuming) used tooth flosser on the bed and.. that truthfully wasn't very pleasant to see. I'm not sure if the owners had been in the house for a while, considering the calendar read February and we stayed in May, and the basket of complimentary snacks on the table were expired back in 2024 so that was a bummer. But despite all of that, the lake view was absolutely beautiful. We saw lots of swans and geese, and a few black squirrels in the front yard. They have a long driveway, which keeps it pretty peaceful at night when cars go by, and the beds were relatively comfortable. Overall, 3/5 stars.
